the final seriesoutstanding
SPOILER FREE
a lot of reviews complained about the conclusion to the story, but remember its all about the charactors not just the space battles.
However Ron Moore delivers battles, story, great acting and a satisfying end.
And the last Bl''dy cylon :)
Beyond this is The Plan movie but doesnt really contribute to the story much.
I loved it
All that has happened before, i will happily watch again....again.....
A fitting end to a great series - no spoilersFor tbe first 2 seasons of BSG I couldn't really see the fuss. I watched the whole thing on DVD and the first two seasons took me 2 years. I only occasionally watched an episode and rarely felt compelled to watch another straight away. There were high points, particularly the stand-off with Pegasus. But I didn't feel particular intrigued or interested in the characters.
But the slog was worth it because the character development in those first two seasons were essential for the immense satisfaction from Season 3 onwards. The complex multi-layered plots, fascinating characters, mystery. It has everything. I watched the final 3 seasons in about a month.
No spoilers here. Just to say for those in doubt, the final revelations are worth the wait. Most of the questions are resolved in a satisfying finale but it still remains fairly enigmatic.
undeliveredUnfortunately, I never received this item, but only the e-mail where it is stated that the "delivery was impossible". Strange, since it is the same address where I received dozens, litterally, of previous products purchased through Amazon.
Too bad, but it's like that....
Good, exciting, sit on edge of your seat stuff!I have so far watched the 1st 2 episodes of this final series and its good - not sure whether is better then series 4 but it certainly has the potential.
If you like the Battlestar Galactica series - you will enjoy this.
Also It was delivered in very good time and in great condition.
thats all folksNot a usual storyline for a US show - basically God is directly responsible for the deaths of billions and billions of innocent men, women, and children in order to get a couple of thousand to Earth, most of whom are presumably telephone sanitisation engineers.
Looks like the TV/cinema version of SF has a way to go before it catches up with the "real stuff".
( although FAQ About Time Travel is brilliant, but probably not to the taste of most BSG stalwarts ).
