Little sister, big city
In The Blair Witch Project, made three years after Zusje, a tape is found in the woods. It shows grainy footage of a few students who probably got killed. And you can watch from the start. How very scary.

In Zusje (Little Sister), such a tape is found in the back of a van in the Amsterdam market. It's a tape made by a lonely guy venturing into the city and the life of his sister Daantje, with a camera almost permanently attached to his hand. They've not seen each other in a long time, and have a few issues between them. What they are, whether they'll be sorted out, and how this could be done, is left towards the end of a gripping film. As the watcher, you can never be sure you're watching this because it's a good film, or for your own voyeuristic pleasure.

Apart from the very strong story, the film is worth watching for its excellent camera work, the fine acting and the snapshot it gives of 90's Amsterdam. However, as it might not be available with any subtitles, I might as well keep this review short.
