Michael Moore does it againWhen I first saw "Fahrenheit 9/11" way back in 2004, I found a fantastic, intresting, shocking, and slightly funny masterpiece. The film explores the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and the political connenctions between President George Bush and the Bin Ladens. It also looks at the current President of the United States, George W. Bush. If there is a message, or an aim, in Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11" it is to see how scary the American Government has been in the past decade.
It is the finest documentary in a long time, maybe not as good as "Bowling For Columbine" but it's message was much clearer and it was a much more enjoyable film than the competetor, "Super Size Me".
If you are intrested in the events of 9/11, watch this. If you are intrested in your Government, watch this. If you like Michael Moore, watch this. If you like George W. Bush, watch this. It is sure to change your views.
the truth is out there, but not in this film....Michael Moore lives up to his previous record. Fiction and opinion, dressed up as truth. The author is always consistent, not letting the facts get in the way of a good rant. Anyone who portrays Saddam Hussein's genocidal regime as some kind of pastoral paradise is beyond help. Try "Manufacturing Dissent" for a look at the truth behind Michael Moore.
Food For Thought. Finally got around to watching this film yesterday. And have to say the film is abit one sided but having visited America many times i can tell you so is there tv, press etc etc. so in a way this might slightly re-balance some of the niavety shown across there apparant democratic society.
The main thing for me which has really annoyed me for years in the UK also is how politicians can sit on company boards on huge benefits whilst also making decisions for their respective governments...maybe its time to change the rules of politics, but then its them that make the rules....
good workMichael Moore has done a great Job and should def. be commended. I think he should make a an updated version of this documentary to include the recent "De-nationalisation" of Iraqi oil by America and Its confused Iraqi Government and include what most of the invited Western Oil companies are happy about.
Typical Moore drivelMore nonsense from the King of B.S. Its a little disturbing how he tars the 50-odd members of the bin Laden family as somehow having something to do with 9/11. Plus Moore himself is profitting from the war by making films like this! Simplistic, ignorant trash...Its the equivalent of a tabloid newspaper: who cares about facts when little white lies can make such a juicy story?
